Li Xuan, a menial disciple of the Xianyun Sect, is born with ordinary mortal roots and suffers contempt from fellow disciples and elders alike. By chance, he awakens an Observation System, which grants him god-tier rewards simply for watching alchemy, playing chess, or practicing swordsmanship. Keeping a low profile and patiently enduring humiliation, he secretly grows stronger. Along the way, he unexpectedly befriends a reclusive former sect master, subdues a seventh-rank Soul-Devouring Spirit Serpent, and amasses enormous cultivation resources through his extraordinary cooking skills. However, the Chief Elder and various prodigies repeatedly scheme against him and set traps to frame him. Armed with heaven-defying opportunities, this lowly young man strikes back step by step, shaking the entire Xianyun Sect despite his mortal roots. By pretending to be weak while hiding his true strength, he rises to the top with unstoppable momentum.
