Best friend Yuan Man gets married, and Xu Zhi and three others travel thousands of miles to be bridesmaids, but are arranged to stay in a rundown hotel, eat spoiled rice noodles, and have their self-funded hot dishes canceled by Yuan Man, who also disparages the bridesmaids. The four return their cash gifts and leave overnight. Yuan Man's wedding falls into chaos due to a lack of bridesmaids, and she even spreads rumors to smear them. The four retain evidence to protect their rights; Yuan Man's wedding is canceled, her engagement annulled, and she issues a public apology and compensation, completely ending their past friendship.
