Lin Ze is an auto mechanic who has been worked like a servant by his supposed good brother, Zhao Dezhong, for four years. Although his food and accommodation are covered, he hasn't received a single cent in profit sharing. Zhao Dezhong's daughter studies in the UK at an annual cost of 400,000 yuan and enjoys top-of-the-line SUV transportation. Meanwhile, Lin Ze's son, Lin Xiaohao, can only vomit inside a battered van with a leaking roof. When Lin Xiaohao wants to attend a robotics training camp in Singapore, costing 28,000 yuan, Zhao repeatedly refuses to give Lin Ze the money he rightfully earned. After pleading again and again, Lin Ze receives a humiliating answer thrown in his face: "Does a mechanic's son deserve that?"
