Lin Zijian pays out of his own pocket to build a road for Luoxia Village, only to be blocked by the Liu family, who demand payment for allowing the road to pass. He legally leases wasteland and bypasses the old road, building a new road leading to the orchard and helping villagers increase their incomes. The Liu family grows resentful and stirs up trouble during an apple purchasing deal. Facing these obstacles, Lin Zijian insists on operating lawfully and cooperating with integrity. He helps the fruit farmers who honor their agreements overcome their difficulties and brings the village's finest fruit to a much wider market.
