Overworked office worker Lin Chen time-travels to become a useless Mars diplomat. As the war between humans and the Crystal Core clan nears total defeat, he is sent to the front lines as a discarded pawn, but unexpectedly activates the "Food Delivery System"—trading Earth delicacies for energy crystals to unlock technology. He opens the Crystal Core clan's taste buds with milk tea, discovering they started the war due to energy scarcity. The peace plan is framed as "treason" by the human warmongers, and he is assassinated by the Crystal Core hawks. Navigating through food, he ultimately brokers peace with an "Interstellar Hotpot Banquet," ending the war and building an interstellar culinary empire.
