He Zongsheng is reborn in 1990 at the very moment his family is being divided. He tears up the unfair agreement and claims the contract rights to a worthless saline-alkali wasteland. Using his knowledge of the future, he catches premium wild large yellow croakers in the bay and earns his first fortune. He then acquires offshore aquaculture sites and land slated for a cross-sea bridge at bargain prices. Through pearl farming and deep-sea fishing, he builds a business empire. His two favored eldest sons commit evil deeds out of greed and are punished with hard labor, while his honest and dependable second son inherits the family business. The story promotes fairness, integrity, and the virtues of building wealth through hard work.
