I Became the Island Master on a Deserted Island, the More I Spend, the Richer I Get
Xiao Wang, a modern-day office worker, dies suddenly from overwork and transmigrates into another world. After going bankrupt and getting divorced, he unexpectedly binds himself to a money-losing rebate system: every yuan he loses earns him ten times the amount back, while making a profit costs him his lifespan. To stay alive, he spends five million yuan building a 'living hell' camp on a deserted island, hires foul-mouthed thugs to greet guests, employs a chef whose sense of taste has failed to make random dishes, and sets the entrance fee at 5,000 yuan, waiting for the business to lose money. Unexpectedly, his sworn rival bribes a blogger to livestream a smear campaign, but the deserted island goes viral overnight instead. With an endless fortune to lose and his lifespan dwindling to zero, how will Xiao Wang turn the tables?
