Xu Yue and her best friend Xie Tingting hail a ride, and their phones pop up with a future warning that the car's driver will murder two female passengers, and they happen to match the details. Xie Tingting harasses the driver all the way, triggering a crisis. After escaping safely, Xu Yue is subjected to successive harassment and intimidation. Upon investigating, she discovers this is a trap set by Xie Tingting's family, who have shared an apartment with her for three years, plotting for her five million yuan demolition compensation for her house. Xu Yue collects evidence and resorts to the law; the three members of the Xie family are sentenced, publicly apologize, and pay compensation.
