Lu Yu, a young man who has returned to his hometown, finds his homestead maliciously occupied by Ma Zhanshan, the village bully, severely blocking sunlight and access to his home. After mediation attempts from various parties fail, Lu Yu chooses not to confront him head-on. Instead, he legally and cleverly fights back by demolishing his ancestral home and digging a fishpond.
