Shu Yan falls in love at first sight with Black Impermanence at the Bridge of Helplessness. When she confesses her feelings in front of everyone, he dismisses her as a lunatic. But through sheer persistence, she successfully cuts in line to be reincarnated. By a twist of fate, she never drinks the Soup of Forgetfulness, allowing her to be reborn with her memories intact. She attends school by day and takes extracurricular classes in the underworld at night, growing from a mischievous little ghost into the top-performing ghost officer. No matter how many times she is reincarnated or how many faces she wears, she remains devoted to that cold-faced spirit. As for the Black Impermanence who keeps calling her crazy, he has actually traded five hundred years of freedom for her two lifetimes of good fortune. If you like someone, say it out loud. If you're rejected, try a little harder. Sincere love will eventually be met with sincere love.
