To protect a life-saving ancient formula that she refuses to sell to a pharmaceutical company, 60-year-old rural veteran TCM doctor Su Yuehua is framed as a harmful quack by her own younger brother and biological son, and publicly expelled from the family genealogy. The three major medical figures she mentored rush over to back her up. Instead of hiding behind her disciples, she starts over from an abandoned veterinary station, investigates a 30-year-old medical case she took the blame for on behalf of her brother, saves patients, reclaims her innocence, and establishes a new Baicaotang that disregards gender and surname, focusing solely on medical ethics.
