Xing Shoutian, a cattle farmer in Yushutun, Northeast China, was stubborn all his life. Around the New Year, cattle boss Wei Dongliang coerced the villagers into pressing their fingerprints, and all twenty-six households complied, except for him. The seventh page of the contract was stapled shut, concealing a joint-guarantee loan trap of 3.8 million. Under the crushing pressure of the scam, his father unfortunately passed away. Unintimidated by threats, Xing Shoutian confronted him with a shovel, climbed mountains to gather evidence, rushed to call the police, and insisted on exposing the fraud, ultimately bringing Wei Dongliang to justice.
