As sea levels surge, the world sinks beneath the endless ocean. Engineer Lu Chen is betrayed by his business partner, who steals his ship and nautical charts. Miraculously surviving, Lu Chen awakens a salvage-and-synthesis system and sets out with his daughter, Tangtang, who suffers from asthma. He rescues Su Yang, a pharmacist, and the two join forces to survive. Gathering survivors, they build a fleet and fight against the Starsea Alliance. After enduring desperate circumstances in which their ship is destroyed and their medicine runs out, everyone works together to construct an ark. Riding the great tide, they head toward the last high ground marked on the nautical charts and establish a new world.
