In the 1980s, Shen Qiuyue was ruthlessly abandoned by her husband Zhao Dayong for a permanent staff position quota. Left with no way out, she picked up a boy named Ping'an, the reincarnation of a demon pill, by the seaside, and the mother and son depended on each other. Ping'an possessed divine strength from birth and could command creatures in the sea. Shen Qiuyue made a living by gathering seafood, using seafood sales to buy a house and a boat, and her days flourished. Her ex-husband and mother-in-law turned green with envy, continuously coming to their door to blackmail and disrupt. Standing firm with her strength, Shen Qiuyue led the villagers to do seafood business, and Ping'an also welcomed an opportunity to enroll in school, as the mother and son began a new life of wealth and stability.
