Reborn in the 1980s, Zhou Yuan brings with him thirty years of master carpentry skills and an uncanny instinct for business opportunities. While the entire village is still struggling to make ends meet, he is quietly stockpiling building materials and opening a furniture factory. Scrap paper that others dismiss earns him his first fortune, while business opportunities that others dare not pursue are ones he seizes ahead of time. Starting with a single combination cabinet, he soon has customers from villages far and wide competing to place orders. Then, by catching the wave of price liberalization, he turns his fortunes around in one decisive move. Everything he missed in his previous life, he will now pursue one step at a time. He wants not only to build a prosperous life for himself but also to give the woman he loves a life everyone will envy.
