In 1980, Northeast youth Li Jun was reborn and returned to his impoverished hometown. His younger brother was sickly and had no money for medical treatment, and his father ran into walls everywhere trying to borrow money. However, he discovered that he could establish spiritual contracts with the animals of the mountain forest; a weasel helped him hunt pheasants in exchange for money to cure diseases, a sable brought him medicinal herbs to supplement household expenses, and hunting dogs protected him safely into the mountain. He always adhered to the old rules of taking the large and leaving the small without driving them to extinction, guarding the mountain forest left by his ancestors. From supporting a family to driving the whole village to open an acquisition station, he allowed his fellow villagers to sell their mountain goods at good prices. With his hands, he changed his destiny, and with his kindness, he won respect.
