In the 1980s, Lin Tianming lived in the Greater Khingan Mountains and worked tirelessly as a professional mountain forager. An honest man, he lost his sight while saving his childhood friend, Sun Yaozu. Once Sun Yaozu realized that Lin Tianming could no longer work himself to the bone for him, he repaid his kindness by kicking him out of their mountain delicacies shop. However, Lin Tianming was born with an extraordinary ability to sense mountain treasures. Using his special power, he continually unearthed rare and priceless treasures, successfully established a partnership with the Shen family of Hong Kong, and turned his fortunes around. Together with his wife, he also led the villagers toward prosperity, while the ungrateful Sun Yaozu eventually regretted his actions as karma caught up with him.
