In his previous life, Zheng Yiming was framed by his fiancée, Li Xin, and Wang Tao, while his younger sister suffered an accident at his uncle's home. Reborn on the very day of his engagement in the 1980s, he decisively calls off the marriage, takes back his hard-earned money, and rescues his sister. Starting with collecting local specialties and making canned yellow peaches, he establishes Xinghuo Electronics and develops plastic fans, Walkmans, Chinese-character pagers, Super VCDs, and PC motherboards. Eventually, he develops the domestically made Xinghuo OS, breaks foreign companies' technological monopoly, and rises from a young man in the countryside to a homegrown technology entrepreneur.
