After little dog Doudou passes away, he joins the Underworld Animal Rescue Station as an intern bailiff to handle the animal souls stranded for many years. He encounters in succession the wildcat Juanjuan whose obsession is hard to disperse, the big dog Daji who is willing to erase his memories, Laifu who keeps his promise bitterly, and the racehorse Changfeng trapped in the obsession of victory and defeat. While Doudou works to boost his KPIs, he accompanies the furry children to unravel regrets and comprehend parting and attachment.
