On a rainy night in 1991, Zhou Shi was forced by his stepmother to sign a severance agreement and leave with nothing, being allotted only a leaky recycling station and piles of scrap copper and iron. To gather five yuan to save his feverish younger sister, he gripped the copper thimble left by his late mother—with a touch of his fingertip, he could actually see through the age, authenticity, and valuation of antiques! He fished out a Qing dynasty copper ink-box from the scrap heap to save his sister, exposed his stepmother's false framing, defeated the ghost market villain Boss Qian, exposed a fake expert's scam, and relied on a Republic-era land deed to hold onto the southern ancestral property. From a trash-picking waste to the richest man of Qingxi Street, using his mother's eyes and a heart that never did evil, he built up his home and protected the bullied villagers behind him.
