Ye Lingtian, the peerless Dragon Emperor who guarded the borders of humanity for seven years, receives a desperate message after pacifying the demon race: his daughter, Lin Xiaocao, has been kidnapped and is being drained of her blood. Defying military orders, he resolutely returns home and uses his invincible strength to crush the evil forces, including the Zhao family of Jianghai and City Lord Liu Xiong, who have harmed his wife and daughter. He sweeps aside the Lin family, martial arts grandmasters, the Blood Fiend Sect of immortal cultivators, the Twelve War Gods from beyond the borders, and the demon armies. With doting on his wife and daughter at his heart and protecting his family and country as his bottom line, he ultimately slays the Demon Emperor and puts an end to the catastrophe. He relinquishes his title as the Prince Who Stands Shoulder to Shoulder with the Nation's Protector and retreats into ordinary life, opening a restaurant to spend his days with his wife and daughter.
