Feng Zhaoxue, the daughter of a convicted official, takes her father's place in the army and is exiled to the northern frontier. At the moment of falling off a cliff and nearing death, a white light sweeps her into a completely unfamiliar world. Here there are no swords, but cars, mobile phones, and flying "demons"; here food is piled high, yet she cannot buy the "divine machines" she wants. Until one day, she discovers that in the dark corners of both worlds, the very same Qingluan seal is drifting. Who on earth is making the moves in this game of chess?
