After acting foolish for eighteen years, Gu Yunzhou returns to the Gu family as the young master of the Wanbao Pavilion, facing marginalization and framing from his biased parents and the sinister fake young master Gu Shaoan. Relying on antique secret arts, he exposes a fake tripod, slays assassins, breaks the artifact curses on his sisters one by one, and joins forces with his antique-appraisal-genius fiancée Pei Zhixia to counter the black-market evil sect Xuanjian Sect. In the expo showdown, he smashes sect leader Moyi Xu's world-destroying conspiracy, recovers lost national treasures, and founds the Wanbao Academy. In the end, he refuses forced family reconciliation.
