Lu Zheng, a project director, devoted seven years to the Nancheng project, only to have his fiancée, Qin Wan, the group's president, publicly slash his ten-million-yuan bonus to just 28 yuan at the celebration banquet, citing three bottles of Baijiu as the reason. Furious, he takes a vacation, and the company immediately runs into trouble, leaving his phone flooded with messages. Refusing to play the victim or accept his fate, he draws on years of accumulated technical expertise, uses his equity investment and evidence, and joins forces with shareholders to reclaim everything through proper corporate procedures and outstanding project delivery. Step by step, he defeats the repeated counterattacks of Xu Cheng and his father, reforms the company into a system-driven enterprise, and leads it to a successful stock market listing. Qin Wan finally awakens to her mistakes in her darkest hour, refuses to give false testimony, voluntarily repays her debts, and finds a way to rebuild her life by helping others.
