After transmigrating into the body of an Immortal Emperor, Xu Fengqiu awakens the Villain of Destiny System. On his wedding day, the Son of Fortune, Ye Feng, arrives with powerful backing to steal his bride. Xu Fengqiu crushes him on the spot, extracts his Supreme Bone, kills his master, and cripples the two-faced Jiang Qingxue, who had been wavering between them. He then settles scores with Ye Feng's faction, Misty Peak, the Medicine Emperor Sect, and other hostile forces. Along the way, he recruits Xiao Li, a maid descended from gods, and Chu Ran, a promising young man. He encounters Li Qianxue, a nine-tailed celestial fox and Son of Fortune, and exposes the deception of his collateral relative Xu Chang'an, winning her favor. Xu Chang'an and his father attempt to seize power by poisoning the guests at a birthday banquet, but Xu Fengqiu is already prepared. Li Qianxue quells the rebellion and later enters seclusion, passing on the Ninefold Sacred Spirit Body to Xu Fengqiu so he can protect himself. The story ends warmly, with no harmful messages.
