With Hongxing Cinema about to close its doors, film editor Xu Xiaoman takes on the task of archiving footage for its farewell screening. Determined to complete the digital preservation and restoration of the neighborhood's old films within three days, she soon faces a series of challenges. The aging tapes have suffered severe magnetic degradation and lack timestamps, while a yellowed old photograph sparks a heated argument between projectionist Uncle Zhou and longtime neighborhood resident Uncle Qian over their memories of the past. Meanwhile, the exhibition organizers impose a strict deadline backed by breach-of-contract penalties. Amid disorganized materials and feuding neighbors, Xu Xiaoman must uncover the truth buried in the passage of time before the countdown ends, rescuing the final frame of warm memories that belongs to the old cinema and its community.
