I Was Mocked for Slurping Shrimp at the Class Reunion, So I Stopped Pretending
Shen He, a carefree painter, deliberately keeps a low profile, concealing her identity as the wife of Lu Yuan, president of Qiming Technology. At a class reunion, her former class monitor, Chen Fei, publicly mocks Shen He for relying on her husband and becoming a dependent woman with no identity of her own. Chen Fei proudly boasts that she is in charge of the company's core Tianqiong Project and openly belittles Shen He's husband. Just as the crowd joins in and presses Shen He for answers, Lu Yuan arrives in person and respectfully addresses Shen He as Mrs. Lu in front of everyone. Chen Fei finally realizes the truth: the company she has worked herself to the bone for actually belongs to Shen He's family. After the uproar, Shen He calmly distances herself from her hypocritical former classmates. She stops deliberately hiding who she is, offers an umbrella of protection to those who deserve it, and shares her happiness with others.
