Shen Shoucheng, chairman of Fenghe Agricultural Trade Group, attends his high school reunion in disguise, hiding his identity. He is mocked and ostracized by his snobbish former classmates, who even crop him out of the group photo. Only his old friend Niu Dayong treats him with genuine sincerity. When classmates demand fees under the pretext of projects, mix inferior goods into shipments, falsify reports, and spread rumors, Shen Shoucheng stands firm on principle. He refuses to provide personal guarantees or grant favors through connections, insisting on proper inspections and settlements based on actual figures. Everyone must take responsibility for their own rectifications, replacements, refunds, and corrections. He and Niu Guilan treat each other with honesty and mutual respect, while Niu Dayong learns to stand on his own skills and to say no.
