After sealing the Demon God, the ancient Divine Lord Who Swallows the Sun loses his memory and transforms into a frail, skinny stray dog, whom Yang Jian names Xiaotian. Unaware of the divine power hidden within him, he chases celestial officials, swallows golden elixirs, and exhausts the heavenly horses through training, causing one hilarious mishap after another at competitions. Everyone underestimates him. During the Shang-Zhou battlefield, he is gravely wounded while protecting his master, awakening his true form. Single-handedly, he defeats the six greatest experts of the Chan Sect. After the battle, he is bestowed the title of Divine Lord Who Swallows the Sun, yet he remains content to stay by Yang Jian's side.
