After his father becomes seriously ill from years of mining work, the unscrupulous bully Cao Biao withholds most of the 36,000 yuan in compensation, offering the miner's family only 8,700 yuan and trying to force them to bow to his demands. Mocked for failing the college entrance examination three times and trapped in desperate poverty, nineteen-year-old Lu Shanhe refuses to accept his fate! He spots a business opportunity in an abandoned mine and leads the entire village in catching poisonous scorpions in the barren hills, turning them into highly sought-after medicinal ingredients. With intelligence and firm principles, he strikes back decisively and shatters the conspiracy! In the end, he successfully extracts high-value scorpion venom, builds the province's largest traditional Chinese medicinal herb base, and helps struggling mining families grow wealthy together, rising to become a true legend of the mining district.
