Jiang He quits her job and returns to her hometown to open a countryside retreat, only to have her troublesome neighbor, Qian Mancang, block her entrance by building a goose shed and letting his geese chase away her customers. She switches to growing forage grass and finds a profitable market. Although Qian Mancang mocks her to her face, he secretly steals her grass and takes advantage of her, then falsely accuses her of poisoning his geese. Jiang He gathers evidence and fights back, forcing him to pay compensation and dismantle the shed. Through her grass-growing business, she eventually becomes a farm partner and welcomes customers back to her little courtyard.
