Six-year-old Suisui awakens after sleeping for five hundred years. Her stingy master tricks her into carrying a shabby cloth bag down the mountain to find seven little pets who supposedly ran away from home. Just as the family reunites and sits down to dinner, an imperial decree from the Divine Court in the Upper Realm demands that Suisui be handed over. Her miserly master sneers and snaps the divine sword in two, then sets off with Suisui and the Seven Great Demon Venerables on a defiant journey to storm the Ninth Heaven and collect the debt owed to them.
