Chen Yang, a township doctor whose career has stalled and whose marriage has fallen apart, is despised by his wife for being useless. At his lowest point, he unexpectedly awakens a skill system: treating patients earns him experience points and treasure chests. From curing an elderly woman with chronic diarrhea and a little girl with nasal congestion to being accepted as an apprentice by an expert at the county hospital, he uses his genuine mastery of traditional Chinese medicine to silence his doubters at every turn, rising from a small-town clinic to a top-tier Grade A hospital in Kyoto.
