Su Lingyao, the Saintess of Beast Taming Mountain, descends the mountain with three spiritual companions and a marriage contract in hand, leaving her to choose between two families. She discovers that the Fu and Lu families harbor ulterior motives and are obtaining power through improper means, triggering one crisis after another. Determined to uncover the truth, Su Lingyao risks herself to avert disaster, with her spiritual companions giving their all to help her. Having seen through the schemes beneath the mountain, she publicly tears up the marriage contract and establishes a new pact: humans and living beings are equal companions and should never be treated as tools for personal gain. She remains true to her belief in coexistence and doing good.
