After ten months of grueling work, Chen Mo secures an 80-million-yuan project for his company, only to receive a mere 470 yuan as a special bonus. At the celebration banquet, his colleagues order a 98,000-yuan feast without his permission and force him to foot the bill. Later, he is maliciously framed by an intern, his achievements are stolen by a relative of his superior, his rightful commissions are withheld, and he is effectively placed on unpaid leave. With his seriously ill mother desperately needing money for treatment, eight years of dedication to his career have brought him nothing but constant obstruction and exploitation.
