On New Year's Eve, the reborn security guard Lu Chuan prevents a past fire tragedy by firmly refusing property owner Wang Cuihua from pushing a modified, explosion-prone electric scooter into the residential building. Facing the owner's tantrums, the manager's threat of dismissal, and the rogue family members smashing the door, Lu Chuan records evidence, guards the door with his life, and forces the neighbors into the fire escape. The electric scooter immediately undergoes a terrifying explosion, and the thugs outside the door suffer heavy blows. In the end, the evil mother and son and the unscrupulous manager are all severely punished according to the law. Lu Chuan not only saves the lives of everyone in the building, but also is awarded the courage medal and a new job offer, welcoming a new life.
