Li Dazhu was originally mocked as the "fool" of Taohua Village. When humiliated by the village bully Wang Hu, he hit his head, unexpectedly awakening the inheritance of lost medical skills, and completely sobered up and transformed. Relying on curing illnesses, saving people, and gathering herbs to make a fortune, he also befriended Bai Xianglan, the eldest daughter of Huangting Restaurant, brewed peach blossom wine, helped the Bai family get through a crisis, and started a contest against the Zhao family who secretly harmed his father. In the process of protecting the villagers and ferret out the real culprit, he step by step rose from a trampled fool to a divine doctor proficient in both medicine and martial arts.
