Su Qingyao was originally the Mysterious Maiden of the Nine Heavens. After failing her heavenly tribulation, she transmigrated to ancient times and became the neglected legitimate daughter of the Prime Minister's household. By a twist of fate, she was rescued by Prince Mu, Zhuo Beixuan. Su Qingyao discovered that Zhuo Beixuan possessed exceptionally strong fortune, which could help her restore her spiritual powers. She therefore proposed a marriage alliance with him. Unexpectedly, the usually aloof and abstinent prince agreed without hesitation. From then on, this heaven-sent match joined forces to punish the wicked.
