After transmigrating into the body of a short-lived genius, Shen Nian relies on taking in junior sisters to earn Dao-preaching points and defy his destined fate. He accepts Xiao Qing'er, a good-for-nothing disciple, and helps her awaken the Divine Phoenix Sacred Body, while using his system to develop a body-tempering technique at the Dao-Unity level. To overcome his impending death, he takes his junior sister to Yunzhou to slay demons and rescue the people from suffering, where he discovers another supreme heaven-mandated heroine, Xia Youyue. In the end, he single-handedly storms the Huang residence, whose members have betrayed their country and colluded with the enemy, crushing them all with overwhelming power.
