Zhou Nianxue, the eldest daughter of a forest ranger family, is reborn six hours before a tragic extermination massacre. Using her memories from her past life, she tries to warn her family—that the wine brought by their cousin cannot be drunk and the midnight knocker at the door cannot be let in—only to be treated as talking nonsense. It is not until the thugs break down the door that the whole family half-believes and cooperates in setting up defenses. At a critical moment, Lao Han, a mute hunter whom she had previously driven away as a bad person, secretly shoots arrows to save them, and the two join forces to fight the enemy. During their escape, Zhou Nianxue unexpectedly discovers that the mastermind behind the scenes is actually her cousin Jiang Mancang—who, harboring an old grudge from thirty years ago when his father died in an avalanche, hired killers to wipe out the family and coveted the Zhou family's land. Zhou Nianxue uses her wits to dismantle the detonator and resolve the avalanche crisis, ultimately ensuring the whole family escapes safely, and the true culprit is brought to justice.
