Ji Xingran's family travels through time to ancient times. Before they can figure out what is happening, they are treated as the family of a disgraced official, have their home confiscated, are flogged, and are exiled three thousand li away. Along the road of exile, some die of illness, some collapse from hunger, and some are killed in riots. But the three members of the Ji family are skilled at gathering, weaving, hunting, building, and cooking. While others suffer through exile, they turn it into a wilderness survival challenge with a construction twist. While everyone else is still gnawing on moldy vegetable dumplings, they are already enjoying a hearty rabbit stew. While others get sick in the rain, they have already built a thatched shelter and boiled hot water. A hellish start, a family of three, and hardcore survival!
