Shen Changhe, a poor carpenter, encounters a little girl named Tangtang in the countryside and, moved by compassion, decides to adopt her. At the time, the Shen family is drowning in debt and struggling to make ends meet. Clever and passionate about delicious food, Tangtang inspires her family with plenty of creative ideas. The family begins its entrepreneurial journey by setting up a street stall and selling specialty noodles. Along the way, they must deal with scheming relatives and malicious competition from rival businesses. Staying true to honest business practices and facing every challenge head-on, the family gradually expands by taking over a food factory and opening a bakery in the county town. They also create job opportunities for their neighbors, helping the local community increase its income. Through hard work and determination, the family builds a prosperous, stable, and happy life with their own hands.
