The God Realm's God of War is ordered to marry into the Demon Domain, her mission being to take the Demon Lord's life. Everyone in the world says the Demon Lord is bloodthirsty and cruel, but after marriage he nightly warms medicine and leaves the lamp on for her, holding her hands in his bosom to warm them in the bitter winter. Burdened with a killing order, she raises her sword numerous times, yet is always unable to strike. As they spend time together, buried past events of many years slowly float to the surface, and she is suddenly startled to realize that the person she was ordered to exterminate is actually the one who silently guarded her for a long time and deeply loved her.
