Lu Zhao, Qiming's chief engineer, conquered Yuri 1 and discovered a hidden risk involving high fever, insisting that clinical trials must not be expanded until the hidden risk is eliminated. Arranged by his grandfather, he entered an arranged engagement with Wen Yining. While Lu Zhao was on night shift, driver Zhao Kai knocked over the prototype. Seeing Lu Zhao dressed in nursing attire, Wen Yining publicly threw away her ring to break off the engagement. When the Wen family learned Lu Zhao's true identity, Wen Yining sought reconciliation, attempting to trade the engagement for project cooperation. Capitalist He Mingyuan coveted the technology and pressured Lu Zhao through Liang Zhengguo. Lu Zhao exposed the scam, and Elder Lu woke Liang Zhengguo up. The He family collapsed, and everyone bore the corresponding consequences. The team overcame the difficulties and passed the evaluation.
