To avoid being pressured into blind dates in the future, Diana attends a business dinner. After drinking herself unconscious, she accidentally wanders into a hotel room and unexpectedly meets Lin Jiaqi, who is in the same predicament. Through a series of misunderstandings, the two end up sharing a bed. When they wake up, each assumes the other is a bad person. Meanwhile, their parents continue pressuring them to go on blind dates. With no other choice, they each arrange for someone else to attend the dates on their behalf. A series of coincidences eventually brings both families together. Although Diana and Lin Jiaqi can't stand each other, Diana lies to Lin Jiaqi about being pregnant to appease their parents, and the two sign a one-year marriage contract. Neither of them expects that this single piece of paper will intertwine their destinies.
