For ten years, Chen Lei has served the villagers by operating a bus for just two yuan per ride, never raising the fare by a single cent. Yet, incited by village chief Wang Decai, the villagers demand that he lower his prices. In front of everyone, Chen Lei tears up his operating contract, abandons the bus business, and switches careers. After completing all the necessary paperwork, he starts operating a legal taxi service with clearly displayed fares starting at 15 yuan. He also secures a commuter shuttle contract with a logistics park, cutting off the entire village's cheap transportation. Eventually, heavy snowfall leaves the village snowbound, and everyone begs him to send a vehicle to rescue them. He saves the villagers and also signs a new agreement for the village collective to purchase transportation services.
