Modern girl Lin Qianqian time-travels and becomes the bullied eldest daughter of the Lin family. The original owner was smashed and injured by her stepmother Ding Yuxiang while protecting her younger brother Lin Yulong, who is pure in mind and possesses natural divine strength. The awakened Lin Qianqian sees through her cowardly father, biased grandmother, and calculating eldest household, and no longer tolerates them. Taking the incident of the Lin family losing a chicken as an opportunity, she publicly exposes the scars on her younger brother's body. With the help of the village chief and Auntie Ding, she takes her younger brother to leave the family with nothing and moves into the old house east of the village. To make a living, she takes her younger brother and Ding Xiaohu deep into the mountains to dig for wild ginseng, earning her first sum of money. Using modern skills, she transforms poisonous yams into starch, develops new products such as spicy crawfish and milk tea, revitalizes Tianxiang Pavilion, and paves the road to prosperity and success.
