After the founder of Qideng City's veteran lantern guild, Heguang, passes away, delivery is imminent, yet the guild faces the crisis of trusteeship and the change of ownership of the molds. Tang Zhi, the head of a collateral branch who was originally destined to sign and exit, discovers that the base of the sample lantern is leaking water, old and new fasteners are mixed, and a batch of lanterns has safety hazards. She publicly refuses to sign, urgently seals the goods, and leads craftsmen and inspectors to dismantle and investigate, correct the structure, and re-inspect piece by piece. Xu Yan has been urging trusteeship, seemingly opposing her, but actually secretly withholding eleven boxes of questionable test pieces and paying out of pocket to advance wages. Concealment and misunderstanding cause endless conflicts between the two, but after the truth is revealed, they finally join hands to strive for batch delivery, winning the buyers' trust with solid evidence.
