Modern soul Jiang Lingshu transmigrates into an immortal cultivation novel as a treasure-hunting spirit mouse fated to have her bloodline drained and die a miserable death by the destiny female lead Su Wanqing. To survive, she cultivates human form. Even sixteen years later, using a treasure-seeking mouse decoy, she is still forcibly bound to Su Wanqing by the heavenly dao. Relying on her ability to hunt treasures, discern danger, and spot lies, Jiang Lingshu unites with the reborn and vengeful senior sister Ling Shuang and the upright second senior brother Shen Yan to intercept all of Su Wanqing's opportunities, expose her hypocrisy, and become the darling of the sect. Consumed by jealousy and falling into demonic corruption, Su Wanqing sacrifices herself to merge with the Demon Lord, causing a catastrophe. Jiang Lingshu gathers three ancient sacred artifacts, condenses the World-Purifying Precious Lotus, and helps Ling Shuang slay the demon god. After the battle, she declines the savior's glorious title, stays behind at the sect with her companions, and continues to freely hunt for treasures.
