Song Yutang, a former palace fight champion, accidentally travels through time to the modern era, becoming a vulnerable and bullied young woman who is forced into a proxy marriage with the unconscious Jiang Muyan. Her in-laws are plagued by internal and external troubles with a mixed bag of people, and numerous relatives bully and plot against her everywhere. Well-versed in power struggles, she rises strongly, rectifies family discipline, tears apart petty villains, stabilizes the situation, and props up the entire family with her own strength. While single-mindedly trying to gain a stable foothold, she repeatedly encounters bizarre occurrences. Little does she know that her bedridden husband has long since woken up, silently watching her hold down the fort alone. When crisis strikes, he steps out of hiding to charge forward together with the domineering female lead, breaking the deadlock side by side.
